What is the 9NEWS Parade of Lights?
The 9NEWS Parade of Lights is free and will make a circuit through the heart of downtown beginning at 6 p.m. on Dec. 7, 2024, featuring more than 40 units, including extravagantly illuminated floats, giant helium-filled character balloons, magnificent marching bands, traditional equestrian units, and vibrant cultural displays. When will I see my pet’s photo on the Tower?
The slide show will begin after dark on Saturday, December 7, 2024, and run until approximately midnight. The 20-minute slide show will repeat throughout the evening so you have many chances to catch your pet’s photo on the tower. If you can not attend the event on Dec 7, the slideshow will be available on Facebook, as well.
In the event of inclement weather that prevents running the tower show, Tails on the Tower will take place on Sunday, December 8.
