At the Dumb Friends League, we understand how healing and impactful the human-animal bond can be for veterans and their families.
From November 4 – 15, we are offering a special adoption promotion for veterans, active-duty service members, and Gold Star Families in honor of Veterans Day:
- At each of our three shelters (located in Denver, Castle Rock, and Alamosa), we’re waiving the adoption fee for any pet over one year of age, so you can adopt a new family member free of charge.
If you can’t visit the League during this window in November, we invite you to check back with us at any time, as we offer veterans and current service members 50% off adoption fees for pets in our three shelters year-round.
