Rumor's Story / Squirt's Story /Sprout's Story / Abbie's Story

Brandy is a mixed-breed dog. We think she is part Labrador Retriever because of her body-type and how she loves to retrieve anything we throw her, including frisbees, sticks and toys! Brandy was tiny when we adopted her at 13-weeks old, and now five years later, she is 73 pounds and all muscle! Brandy is a very loving and affectionate dog. She is "queen" of our house and is very spoiled!

Brandy enjoys long walks, camping and hiking in the mountains, swimming in lakes, retrieving frisbees, playing with her friends, Chelsea (pictured with Brandy here), Ernie, Sam and Cody, and spending time with her family.

Brandy spends time in our big yard during the day and she has a doggy door, so she can go inside the house if she gets cold or too hot. When we are home she is in the house with us and she has a bed in our bedroom and in the den. She has lots of toys in the house that she enjoys playing with and once a week she gets a rawhide bone to chew on. When we come home from work, we take Brandy on a long walk every night.

Brandy gets fed once in the morning and once in the evening. She has water bowls all over the house and the yard, as she needs a lot of water. Brandy gets brushed quite often, because she sheds a lot, especially in early summer when she is losing her winter coat. She goes to a groomer to get her nails clipped and she gets a bath when she plays in the mud or goes swimming in the lake. We also brush her teeth a few times a month to keep her them healthy. She goes to the veterinarian once a year for a check-up and for her shots.

Brandy is a very important part of our family
and she is very loved!
